DESCRIPTION: Up to 6mm in length. A smart little plant bug that is a wonderful bluish green in colour with hairy wings, spotted legs and a distinct patterning on the head and thorax.  BEHAVIOUR: Seen when sweeping grass or on hot sunny days when the adults are feeding. DISTRIBUTION: Occasional in southern and central England and some parts of Wales. HABITAT: Found in various grassy areas and more often than  not seen on the flowerheads of the foodplant Knapweed. PERIOD:  Best observed between July and September.
